We made it!!!!! We left San Ramon this morning, crossed the Bay Bridge and then all traversed the crooked part of Lombard Street and passed through Golden Gate Park which opened up on the glorious Pacific Ocean. A quick drive down the coast and we pulled into the Ocean Pacific Lodge!
Ralph was sick last night so he and Marie stayed in bed for a few hours before leaving for Santa Cruz. They rolled into town while James and I were at the car wash getting rid of 4000 miles of bugs and grime. Wayne and Mary Jayne went to visit their daughter in SF and arrived just as we were leaving the car wash. Nance and Mark wanted to find their own way to Santa Cruz and had arrived late in the evening.
Tomorrow our group is going to be the toast of the town at the wharf with a special parking place for the tourers....more after the show. Gotta get up early.........
